Sinead O'Connor has admitted that she was overdosing when she put out the plea on Twitter Wednesday for medical help. She told the Sun ""I took an overdose. God obviously wants me around, though I can't think why."

Madonna doesn't mince words about Lady Gaga in an interview with Newsweek. She said her reaction upon hearing Gaga's Born This Way and noticing the similarities to her own Express Yourself, "I thought, 'What a wonderful way to redo my song.' I mean, I recognized the chord changes. I thought it was. interesting."
She actually does like the singer, whom she considers much like herself. On this week's Graham Norton Show, she says "When I first saw her, I was really impressed by her and she was cool. She did remind me of me back in the day. I do think she is very talented."

The Beach Boys have a drummer lined up for their 50th Anniversary Tour. They'll bring back old stand-by from their 90's tours, actor John Stamos.

Harry Connick, Jr. starts a four week run next Wednesday as Mariska Hargitay's love interest on Law & Order: SVU. He may want to see if he can stretch that job out a bit longer as his current job on Broadway, starring in the revival of On a Clear Day You Can See Forever, will close on January 29. In total, the show will have played 29 preview and 57 regular performances.

Peter Criss, former drummer for KISS, and Terry Bozzio (Frank Zappa, Missing Persons) will be inducted as Drum Legends by the Guitar Center retail chain. They will be honored on January 14.

Nina Blackwood, Mark Goodman, Alan Hunter and Martha Quinn have signed with Atria Books (Simon & Schuster) for a new book detailing the behind the scenes activities of the original MTV veejays. The fifth of the original crew, J.J. Jackson, died in 2004.

Ahead of the release of NADA SURF's first album of new material in four years, they have uploaded a new behind the scenes video which sees them playing acoustic, cooking and chatting about life as a member of the band.

'The Stars Are Indifferent To Astronomy', released on 23 January 2012, is NADA SURF's sixth studio album, and third for City Slang, following the successful and critically lauded 'The Weight is a Gift' (2005), 'Lucky' (2007) and their self-released covers record 'If I Had a Hifi' (2010) that was intended to be only available at shows but forced into normal retail by popular demand.

It is also accompanied by live shows in London and Glasgow early next month. See below for details.

NADA SURF's line-up for 15 years has been and still is Matthew Caws (vocals, guitar), Daniel Lorca (bass) and Ira Elliot (drums), though this time, they invited guitarist Doug Gillard (Guided by Voices) to join in the recording process as well as a certain increasingly prolific Martin Wenk of Calexico fame. Chris Shaw (Wilco, Brendan Benson and Super Furry Animals) was brought in to produce and record, having worked with the band before when he mixed their 2005 smash, 'Always Love.'

'We've always played faster and a little harder live," Caws says, "but we'd play so carefully in the studio. So with this album, we made a conscious decision to preserve what it felt like in the practice room, when you play with that new-song energy. Just embrace it and not worry whether we're overdoing it, kind of get all the thinking out of the way."

Nada Surf will be in London and available for interview this coming Monday January 16th.

They also play the following live shows:

07. Feb UK Glasgow - King Tuts
08. Feb UK London - Koko

Madonna's twelfth studio album will be named MDNA, the pop superstar has revealed.

Speaking to British comedian Graham Norton in an interview for The Graham Norton Show, Mads revealed the name.

MDNA is Madonna's first album as part of her 360 deal with Live Nation and Interscope. The nature of 360 deals is that the deal maker gets a slice of all of Madonna's profits, not just from album sales. The name is a play on 'MDMA' ' the active ingredient in the drug ecstasy.

It will also be her first album not released through Warner Bros., who have had her on their roster since her 1982 debut.

The album has already made headlines after a Spanish man was arrested over the leak of the album's first single, Gimme All Your Luvin'. At the time Madonna expressed her disappointment in the leaker, who was never identified.

The single, which features vocals from M.I.A. and Nicki Minaj will be released at the end of January, just in time for her Superbowl performance. The album will be released in March.

Amber Rose 'doesn't see any flaws' in her boyfriend Wiz Khalifa.

The gorgeous model is very much in love with Wiz.

Amber cannot think of anything bad to say about her beau.

"He's so freaking cute, that's my baby right there," Amber gushed on RapFix Live. "He's beautiful, he's perfection to me. I don't see any flaws when I look at him."

Wiz and Amber were rumoured to have married in September 2011, but that did not occur. The pair did move into the same building around that time period though.

"When we met, we fell in love and then he moved to LA and he wound up moving in my building and we just started our life like that together," Amber explained. "It's good, we're not married yet, and it's good that we still have our separate places. I have a lot of clothes, so my clothes are not going to fit in his condo at all."

Amber enjoys doting on Wiz. The rapper is a fan of Amber's domestic skills.

"I get up in the morning, I cook him breakfast every morning. I rub his feet, I give him kisses, feed him breakfast in bed," she detailed. "I clean the house, I run the shower for him; I iron his clothes and whatever he wants. I love him; I would do anything for him. He is a spoiled brat when it comes to me. I don't let him lift a finger; I do everything for him. I am the wife, I take care of all that. He doesn't have to do anything."

Amber feels that Wiz reciprocates in effort and appreciation.

"He respects me, he loves me, he gives me all that in return," she said. "We kinda do that to each other."
